How long does it take to implement Drape and Blind Software?

There are two steps to implementing Drape and Blind Software.

1. Data Setup

With the DBs TOTAL Start-Up Solution, we will get your prices loaded into your retail system before installation and training.  This means that you can start doing quotes on day one.

You will need to provide us with a list of your blind suppliers and in some instances price lists in excel or pdf format. An extensive list of soft furnishing fabrics is also available to choose from. Usually, we are able to get your system ready in about three weeks from the day you commit. 

2. Installation and Training

Installation is generally done remotely and prior to the training day so that you can benefit immediately from your investment. We like to train in person if possible so that we can get to know you and your business. It's best to ensure the whole team is available on the training day, but not all staff will be required all the time. We can install and train on weekends if that's more convenient for you.

Yes. We're committed to giving you the training and support you need to use Drape and Blind Software confidently in your business. One day of training is included in your purchase of Drape and Blind Software.  You will be quoting by the end of your first training session. Ongoing training and support is available free of charge. Simply call us or send an email and we are there to help you out.  We also have helpful videos and step by step instructions on our website.

Can I set my mark-ups in Drape and Blind Software?

Can I set my mark-ups in Drape and Blind Software?

Yes. You have precise control over your mark-ups in Drape and Blind Software. You can set your own global default markup for each supplier. You can then change the default markup for particular treatment groups within each supplier. You can even change the markup for individual treatment styles, such as Pinch Pleat Curtains or  Gather Tape Curtains. 

How do I manage discounts I receive from my wholesalers?

How do I manage discounts I receive from my wholesalers?

Fabric prices are entered at the cut length or standard wholesale price. You can set your fabric supplier discounts which will then be applied to the standard wholesale price during the fabric pricelist import process. You can apply discounts to individual fabrics.

Blind supplier discounts are easily maintained by applying a negative % update to blind grids price lists. This makes it easy to change your price list as you negotiate better prices.

Can I enter my own blind price lists?

Can I enter my own blind price lists?

Yes.  Use our easy import process to import your blind supplier price lists directly into Drape and Blind Software from an Excel spreadsheet. If your supplier only supplies printed lists, you can use Drape and Blind Software's simple data entry screens to key in the information. We'll show you how to use this feature during your training session.

Can I enter information from my own fabric wholesalers price lists?

Yes. You may enter and maintain fabric price lists in Drape and Blind Software yourself through a very easy process. We can show you how during a training session.

Is Drape and Blind Software preloaded with my wholesalers

Is Drape and Blind Software preloaded with my wholesalers

Yes. You can choose from many Australian, New Zealand, South African, Canadian and US fabric suppliers. We will also enter your all your manufacturers' blind price lists for you.

  • Screen Resolution - minimum 1024 x 768
  • Internet Connection

SQL system required to run multi-store organizations with mobile modules.
Outlook or Google Calendar is required to run consultant scheduling and installer scheduling.

DBs Cloud System Requirements

DBs is installed on Google Cloud in a Microsoft environment. There is a one to two user version and also a  multi-user version. Users on DBs Cloud can use any device - PC, Android, IPad, Apple Mac to access the system.
